Looking for Maya Animators to help make a short love story!

I have a lot of projects in the works and I’m looking to get some completed soon so they don’t pile up! At this moment I’m looking for help in finishing a project that is close to needing animators.

The working title is “Star Crossed”, the story of two aliens on separate planets who meet each other through crude holograms. When this arrangement proves to not be enough, one alien hatches a plan to travel to the other’s planet.

The storyboard has been made, character models created and props and rough sets are being put together. I need some skilled animators to help bring this project to life!

This film is a lighthearted love story and the style of animation is meant to be a bit cartoony.

The funding for music and animators on this project will come from Kickstarter. I’ve ran two successful campaigns there before and I hope this is the third. For every animator who joins the project I’m going to add$1000 to the campaign goal, this will be the animators pay. Scenes will be distributed once the goal is reached. If we go over the goal everyone will get an added bonus that will be split from the extra amount. So once the campaign is launched I hope you’ll help promote it!

A Guide to the Hundred Acre Kingdom:Tinthera Women

Like Tinthera men, the woman are also trained highly in combat and can handle nearly all known weapons in the Hundred Acre Kingdom.  While hunting, they are known to be light on their feet and can sneak up on their prey within a few feet to some inches without being noticed.  The Armor worn by Tintheras is smithed by the wearer as part of a ritual to becoming a warrior.  To wear armor bought or given from anyone else is seen as shameful and at times has been punished with banishment from Tinthera tribes.

Currently few Tintheras are known to still exist within the kingdom, most believed to have been killed in the great Woozle war.  Some believe small pockets of tribes may be hidden around the kingdom, but none have been seen at this time.

Part 30: Tranquil Piglet

   Once the travelers arrived home, Clover decided to rest.  There was still a stinging in Piglet’s chest as he watched Clover walk inside without a word.  Not wanting to press the issue, Piglet went to his favorite rocking chair outside and smoked from his pipe.  He never enjoyed dwelling on issues that couldn’t be handled by his bow.

The night was peaceful. As he blew rings of smoke into the air, Piglet closed his eyes and enjoyed the tranquility of the Hundred Acre Kingdom.  He enjoyed these moments, but this time there was a gnawing from within that was starting to annoy him.

Part 28: Cold Partners

Away from the clearing, Piglet and Clover walked in silence.  In the distance the faint sound of heffalumps crying out in anger could still be heard.  The lizard was gone for now.  Clover held the tail over her shoulder while biting her lip.  Walking behind Clover, Piglet took out his pipe and started searching his pockets for a match.  Looking to Clover’s stoic walk, he placed his pipe back under his coat.

“A Thesaurus”  Piglet said, breaking the silence.

“What?” Clover didn’t turn to look at him.

“The lizard, it’s a Thesaurus.  A black lizard that lurks in the hundred acre kingdom.  There aren’t many, but the ones that exist have been known to stalk Piglet campings.  There were two that would sneak into my village-”

“Never leave your partner behind!”  Clover shouted back.

Piglet stopped walking for a moment and took a deep breath.

“Forgive me, I should have come to your aid as soon as you called.”

Clover stopped walking for a moment and looked ahead.  The cold in the air had gone down since she took the tail.  The snow had stopped and a faint air blew between them.

“It’s fine.”  Clover looked back to Piglet.  “Just remember, we travel together so we can help each other.”

They continued walking together.  A chill in the air remained with them as they made their way back to the Eeyore.

Part 27: Escape

After his moment of thought, Piglet’s mind snapped back and he rushed to the heffalumps.  The beasts were too heavy for him to take down and their bodies would take no damage from any weapon he knew of.  The one way Piglet knew to take down a heffalump was to use it’s weight against itself.  He leaped on the nearest one and grabbed on to the tusk.  The mammoth swung its head to fling piglet off and rammed its side into the heffalump nearby.  As they started to knock heads becoming angrier with each other, Piglet jumped to Clover and ran with her just as the giants fell to the ground with a loud metal clang.

Part 26: Cornered

Gripping the tail in one hand and her dagger in the other, Clover readied herself for the approaching heffalumps. Immediately she knew going against them would be impossible. Their mechanical bodies gave no signs of a weakness. She called out to Piglet who was still fighting the dark lizard. At first he didn't seem to hear her. The second time she called he looked back as the lizard started to run off. For a moment he looked from her to the lizard, frozen in his tracks. As the heffalumps prepared to trample her, she watched Piglet, wondering if he would leave her for the lizard. In that instance, Clover felt the world about to sink away.
