With a number of projects in the works and people asking about them I believe it's time to really start using this blog.

Hasani Walker's the Grim
I have no shortage of ideas, and the Grim is one of them.
The story opens with Red Riding hood. It's been months after the wolf attacked and she has completely blocked the traumatizing incident from her mind. As she continues to walk into the forest to search for the grandmother she still believes is alive the truth of that day begins to come back to her. Along with this she comes to learn that the wolf is relentlessly searching for her for reasons she doesn't yet understand.

a frame from my next film
Here's a frame from my next project "Suicide Friends." I'm very happy with the films overall look which took a very long time to reach. Currently the film is in the production stage of animating and rendering.

Sneak peek at my next film project
Here's a small sneak at Suicide friends, my next film. This is my first time directing a film that isn't stop-motion. It's becoming quite the learning experience. For anyone who doesn't know the details of this film it was meant to be a combination of stop-motion, CG, and traditional animation. as the project continues stop-motion and CG will appear in the film, but traditional animation elements are now being changed to CG. One of those elements is the main character whose hair clip is seen here. to see the original Dana go to the concept art section in the gallery at hasani-studios.com

stop-motion short they forgot.
"They Forgot" is the latest in the series of film noir style stop-motion films along with "Snip" and "Mirror." The idea for this film actually came after I regrettably forgot a friends birthday. I made up for that mistake, but this image stayed in my head for a while. The film was made in a period of three months at the art institute of Phoenix. the violin at the end is actually being played by me horribly so please don't judge too harshly. I had a lot of fun making this film, though most reviews say it's simply depressing. "They Forgot" will be the last of the film noir series of shorts for a while. I plan to look into other styles for a while and to perhaps do something with more color before coming back to this series.
